Join us on Saturday, April 13 from Noon to 6pm on Magnolia Avenue for @Open Streets 2024 presented by Trinity Metro! Open Streets is a FREE a community event that closes Magnolia Avenue to cars and re-opens the street to cyclists, food vendors, markets, dog walkers, skateboarders, yoga classes, face painters, and much more. This year’s event will have more than 120 activity providers offering free family-friendly fun with no cost to play. 

YOGA WITH YOGI SQUAD

Welcome to the MOST MINDFUL CORNER of MAGNOLIA! We’ll be on Block 8 in front of our friends at Magnolia Wine Bar, right in the middle of all the Open Streets action. So drop by and see us for a bit of mindfulness, movement and crafting fun. And don’t forget to grab a refresher while you’re visiting. We can’t wait to see you!

SKATE JAM

Produced by @Magnolia Skate Shop and sponsored by our friends at @Dickies, the Open Streets Skate Jam on Blocks 2 & 3 (Magnolia Avenue from Hurley to Fairmount) is one of the most exciting parts of Open Streets. Bring your board to ride the ramps - skaters of all ages and abilities are welcomed. OR hangout as a spectator and watch the tricks, flips, and kicks of the Open Streets Skate Jam! 

BIKE RODEO

Fort Worth Bike Sharing, Fort Worth Critical Mass, and expert cyclists like Elisabet Westbye are setting up a fun bike activities course on Block 12 near The Boiled Owl! Join us for riding fun, bike safety training, and free bike gear giveaways! The entire westbound travel lane of Magnolia Avenue is dedicated to rolling fun of all types such as scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, roller-skates, bicycles, and more! Move up and down Magnolia Avenue without a car in sight. The street belongs to you on Open Streets day!

STROLL THE 100+ FREE ACTIVITIES

Open Streets is a play-day like no other in Fort Worth. More than 100 community partners are bringing free activities, from sack races to obstacle courses, box mazes to free yoga lessons. The street is filled with educational, creative, and inspired fun and there are no costs to play.

This year Open Streets is proud to offer three curated markets that fit into our local and sustainable focus for the event.- The @Wandering Roots Markets FARMERS’ MARKET on Block 4 near Lockwood Distilling features 22 vendors- The Love Local ARTISAN MARKET on Block 11 near Upper 90 features 22 artists and makers- The Honeysuckle Rose Events VINTAGE MARKET on Block 13 near Cane Rosso features 22 vintage vendors

Along with our awesome Near Southside brick and mortar restaurants, bars and bakeries on Magnolia, Open Streets also welcomes 35 local food, sweets and drinks vendors for your enjoyment!
