2024 Summer Camps

We have carefully chosen camp themes and activities that offer enriching value and align with our mission. Our goal is to give children a camp experience that sparks creativity and exploration, while simultaneously providing education and empowerment to help them learn to live and feel their best. Each camp effortlessly integrates a mix of yoga, storytime, mindful games and activities, arts and crafts, science experiments, sensory play, and SO MUCH FUN.

Here’s what we’ll be up to each week:

May 28-31: CAMP KOOL KIDS 😎

Kick off your summer at Camp Yogi Squad this year. We’re bringing vibes of a 1980’s summer back so your yogi can experience all the awesomeness! We’ll celebrate the sweetness of summer with some classic crafts and games to help your yogi relax, get imaginative, and start summer off with bang! Expect games like tag and capture the flag, tie-dye shirts and friendship bracelets, paper plate frisbees and DIY kites- plus we’ll make our own bubble concoction and naturific sun prints! It’s the kick off to summer your yogi won’t want to miss!

August 5-8: CAMP AMAZING RACE 💨

Get ready for an exhilarating end-of-summer adventure! This year, we're bringing the thrill of the race, combined with the camaraderie of teamwork to make this camp an unforgettable one. Join us on a journey full of challenges, puzzles, and exploration that will test and enhance your camper's imagination and creativity. Expect scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and hands-on activities like map making and team-building exercises. Camp Amazing Race promises an action-packed and engaging end to the summer. Get ready for a camp full of fun, challenges, and the joy of crossing the finish line at Camp Amazing Race!

Every Kid, Every Camp:

​Our camps are created with careful curation to engage and enrich students with social and mindfulness themes through books, movement, mindful exploration, and crafts. Every day at camp includes:

• Storytime embodies our theme and develops social and literacy skills

• Mindfulness tools to help your child identify, regulate, and express complicated feelings

• Yoga poses to encourage movement, exploration, strength and confidence

• Crafts, process art, and experiments that embody each theme through creativity

About the Camp Director: 

Brooke Blankenship is a Texas certified educator and school librarian with more than 20 years experience working with children. A 500 hour certified yoga teacher, Brooke has completed extensive training on bringing mindfulness and yoga to students of all ages. She founded the nonprofit, Yogi Squad, to help kids navigate stress and anxiety with tools taught through yoga and mindfulness. Classes themed with books enhance literacy development while also positively promoting social and emotional growth in kids. Learn more at yogisquad.org

Please Bring:

Please bring a bag labeled with your yogi’s name that includes a water bottle, non-refrigerated snack, and lunch. Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before camp (we will not be outside for long periods of time). Please have your yogi shoes that can independently be removed and replaced. Please have your yogi wear clothes that are comfortable and can get messy (we will try our best not to get too messy). You will receive a detailed email with this information two weeks prior to the start of camp. Yoga mats are available to borrow upon request.

Cancellations:

Cancellation requests made in writing to brooke@yogisquad.org at least 30 days prior to the start date of each camp to receive a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation requests made less than 30 days before your camp are eligible for a 50% refund of the purchase price.
